Blended Technologies
With over nineteen years’ experience in distance education, USDLC is a multi-state nonprofit distance education consortium, providing a wide variety of professional development opportunities for teachers and administrators using blended technologies of satellite and the Internet.
During the 2004-05 School Year, three program options are available EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH USDLC:
Professional Development Via Streamed Video or Satellite
Includes the Achieving Academic Excellence Series, which addresses the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), with strands focusing on Reading Literacy, Math Literacy, Data-Driven Decision Making, Paraprofessionals’ Guide to Excellence, and Success with At-Risk Students. The Special Series provides programming specifically designed for media specialists as well as for teachers working with ESL/LEP students.

Professional Development Modules Via the Internet
Focusing on helping teachers integrate technology into the classroom
(Site License – based on numbers of users)
Professional Development Online Courses
Focusing on reading comprehension, integrating technology geographically, and teaching American History.
